Thai Zoo Performs Insemination on Panda
Chuang Chuang, left, and Lin Hui, the two giant padas are seen in their cage in Chiang Mai zoo in Chiang Mai province, northern Thailand in November 2003. The porn didn't work so Thai zoo authorities turned Monday, April 2, 2007 to artificial insemination in a bid to get its lone female panda pregnant. Officials at Chiang Mai Zoo impregnated Lin Hui with semen from Chuang Chuang and will repeat the procedure on Tuesday. The artificial insemination is a last ditch effort to get Lin Hui pregnant, after images of panda porn failed to entice Chuang Chuang into mating with his partner. (AP Photo/Wichhai Tapeiru)
