Toothpaste may put end to sensitivity

A toothpaste that repairs sensitive teeth by rebuilding tooth enamel will soon be on the market in Britain.

The treatment by Arm & Hammer coats the teeth with liquid calcium, which seals holes in the teeth and protects exposed nerves, The Daily Telegraph said Wednesday.

One dentist said patients with sensitive teeth can experience dramatic improvements in just two weeks.

Arm & Hammer said the toothpaste has eight times the amount of calcium in saliva, the British newspaper said.
