University of Montreal


The University of Montreal. (UdeM) is a public university established in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 1878. UdeM offers more than 650 undergraduate and graduate programs, including 71 doctoral programs. The School of Engineering is highly respected. UdeM is ranked among the top 100 universities world-wide. The Montreal Laboratory is noted for its nuclear research facilities and contributions to science around the globe. Hubert Reeves an astrophysicist is associated with the University of Montreal and Roger Guillemin MD was awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1977.
