The obesity epidemic in the United States has spread to include children under 6 years old and particularly infants, according to a Harvard study. The study of 120,680 kids is the largest to date to report on such young children. During the 22-year period covered, medical records reveal that the prevalence of overweight children less than 6 years old jumped 59 percent, from 6.3 to 10 percent.
