Nokia Siemens Networks to Cut 9,000 Jobs

(AP) -- Nokia Siemens Networks, the telecom equipment maker that began operations last month, said Friday it will lay off up to 9,000 people worldwide - some 15 percent of its work force - in line with previous plans.
